Eurodent’s guarantee schemes indicate the period during which we guarantee that a crown, an implant or a prosthesis will last. We give you the same guarantee for treatment you have received in Budapest, as in Norway. If something should happen to your new teeth, we will arrange it at one of our clinics in Norway, so you do not have to travel down again.
Warranty period on various dental treatments
Porcelain crown: 3 year warranty
Implant: 10 year warranty
Fillings and prostheses: 1 year warranty
Of course, your new teeth last for many more years than the warranty period indicates.
The guarantee for dentures applies if the fracture and / or damage to the porcelain is due to an error from our dental laboratory, or an error from a dental specialist.
The guarantee does not cover:
- Side effect that can occur during or after preparation of a tooth
- Damage to teeth caused by accidents
- Injuries caused by gum disease
- Development of gum disease, or other disease of the gums and teeth
- Unforeseen root canal treatments
- Injuries that can occur due to excessive dieting or sudden obesity
- Temporary crowns, bridges or dentures
- Ejection of implants
- Bruxism (tanngnissning) og attrisjon (tannslitasje)
The guarantee does not apply when the patient:
- Fails to come to the annual inspection at Eurodent
- Oral hygiene is neglected or the dentist’s instructions are not followed
- Informs Eurodent too late after corrections of dentures
- Can not show receipt for any repair at another dentist
- Warranty applies to the implant screw itself during implant treatment
- Eurodent is not responsible for unforeseen root canal treatments after preparing tooth / teeth for crown and bridge
- Injuries that occur due to the patient not following the dentist’s advice, eg failing to use a rubbing splint
- The patient provides insufficient information about the state of health before the dental treatment starts
Guarantee for treatment abroad
According to Norwegian regulations, patients who are dissatisfied with treatment they have received abroad do not have the right to complain about this to NPE . That is why Eurodent offers guarantee follow-up. If there is something you are not completely satisfied with after treatment at our clinic in Budapest, we guarantee that we will rectify this at your nearest Eurodent clinic.
